It was when she got there she understood the concept

Either do it or starve to death, it was a matter of no argument

It wasnt long she fell to their pressure

She had to give her body to men for pleasures

Fifteen men a day was enough

Soon she was making more pay plus bonus

Sadly, she got infected with aids and became addicted to drugs

She was setup and mugged

They took all she had and she was deported

No sooner had she left that God remenbered her family

She never became the hero she wanted to be

Saudi Arabia National Team refuse to observe minute's silence for London terror victims during football match with Australia (Photos/Video)

There was drama on Thursday as Saudi Arabia’s football national team declined to observe minute’s silence in honour of the victims of the London Bridge terror attack.

The shocking incident occurred ahead of the FIFA World Cup Asian qualifying match between Saudi Arabia and Australia.

When the stadium announcer called for a minute's silence, 11 Australian players on the field lined up at the center circle with their arms on their teammates' shoulders, but Saudi Arabian footballers ignored the tradition and took their positions on the pitch.

According to officials, the minute’s silence was approved by the Asian Football Confederation before the game and while Saudi Arabia’s national team agreed to the tribute, the players refused to pay their respects.

Last Saturday’s terror attack at London Bridge claimed the lives of seven people, including two Australian citizens.

After the match, a spokesperson for Football Federation Australia (FFA) also confirmed that they had an agreement with the Asian Football Confederation to hold minute's silence for the victims of the London Bridge terror attack.

‘The FFA sought agreement from the Asian Football Confederation and the Saudi national team to hold a minute’s silence in memory of those lost in Saturday night’s terror bombings in London and in particular the two Australian women.

‘Both the AFC and the Saudi team agreed that the minute of silence could be held.

‘The FFA was further advised by Saudi team officials that this tradition was not in keeping with Saudi culture and they would move to their side of the field and respect our custom whilst taking their own positions on the field

The match ended 3- 2 in favour of Australia, leaving Saudi Arabia at 16 points in their qualifying group.

Woman who was rescued from boyfriend who tried to throw her over a bridge is finally killed by him

The common advice for women in abusive relationships is to leave before it's too late but what's the advice for women whose boyfriends turn deadly when they try to end the abusive relationship? Go to the police maybe? For Zama Sishi, her effort to end things with her abusive partner ended in death.

A few weeks ago, 31-year-old Zama was allegedly assisted by a passerby to escape when her boyfriend, Ayanda Nkosi, 32, tried to throw her over the bridge at Jozini Dam in South Africa, but on Friday night she wasn't so lucky when Ayanda allegedly stormed into her rented house in Jozini, northern KZN and fired bullets into her body. 

Ayanda, who was originally from Hluhluwe, is believed to have turned the gun on himself afterward. Both of them died on the spot. A friend who lives in the neighborhood said they rushed to the scene on Friday night after hearing the gunshots and found the bodies of both of them lying on the floor, bleeding profusely.

A relative of Zama’s told Daily Sun the couple had been fighting a lot lately. The relatives said that the circumstances surrounding the fights was not so clear but they were linked to the fact that Zama wanted to end the relationship.

“Apart from Ayanda’s attempt to throw her over the bridge, there have been other shocking incidents," the relative said. 

“He has been beating her severely. Zama had a fresh injury on her head that she sustained from a recent beating." 

A source said:

 “Her boyfriend was jealous and abusive and their fights have been going on for a couple of months. It is not clear how long the two have been dating because neither of them is from the area. They came to the area early this year. Zama worked in Jozini and her boyfriend constantly visited her."

KZN police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Thulani Zwane confirmed the incident. He said a case of murder and an inquest docket were opened at Jozini Police Station for investigation.

“Circumstances around the incident are still being investigated,” said Zwane.

9-month-old baby goes missing in South Africa after mother 'borrowed' the child to a neighbour

A 25-year-old South African mother is presently heartbroken and shattered as her 9month old baby has been missing for five days.

Abongile Nojahi, the unemployed mother claims she had let her 17-year-old neighbour, Zanele Mchunu “borrow” her son on Saturday and since then she hasn't set her eyes on her child nor the neighbour whose phone has been out of reach.

“This is so hard. I don’t sleep at night because I just lie awake and worry about where he is‚”Abongile said.

Narrating the sad occurrence to Times Live, the distraught mother said: 

‘She came to my house and asked if she could borrow my baby and I said that was fine. She said she would come back. I gave her my baby and by the time Sunday came‚ she had never come back‚” she said.

Abongile said she felt comfortable leaving her child with her friend‚ and did not find the request strange or had any reason to suspect that she would make such move.

“She often looks after him‚ so it was normal to me. I have known her for a year and she is my neighbour.’

Although, she has however reported to the police the missing case of her child and Police spokesperson Captain Nqobile Gwala made an appeal to the general public with information to reach them.

The former governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole on Wednesday, June 7th, paid a surprise visit to his visually impaired "daughter" Joyce Imasuen Osaivbie, on her 15th birthday.

According to Victor Oshioke, who shared the heartwarming story, the brilliant young girl is currently a student of Queens College Lagos.

"This blissful relationship started a few years ago when Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and his wife Iara discovered this physically challenged girl whose father and elder brother are equally blind. From that moment they took over responsibility for her education and personal needs and fondly refer to her their daughter. So when Comrade Adams Oshiomhole realised that yesterday June 7th was her birthday, he decided to honour her in a grand style by paying her a surprise visit in their modest family home with a beautiful cake to celebrate the special day. To add color and glamour to the visit he went with an entourage of over 40 persons which included the honorable Speaker of the Edo House of Assembly, the Deputy Speaker, Majority Leader, 18 other honourable members of the House, ex commissioners and his personal aides." Photo: India Narcotics bureau nabs Nigerian man with 415 gram of Heroin

A Nigerian national has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Chandigarh Zonal Unit for drug trafficking.

The suspect, Eze Uchenna James, a resident of New Delhi, was arrested with 415 gram Heroin, near Mela Ground in Sector 17 late Wednesday evening, June 7th.

NCB said that the accused had kept contraband inside a brown small bag.

James was visiting Chandigarh for the third time to supply Heroin. His drug operations were spread around Chandigarh, Pinjore and Panchkula.

Preliminary investigations also revealed that his friend, Refel, was also arrested by Sirsa Police, Haryana in a drug traffic.

New Niger Delta group emerges and demands to break away from Nigeria

Like the Nnamdi Kanu led IPOB, a new group from Niger Delta has demanded that it gains independence from Nigeria. The group named 'Region of the Niger Delta' (Rondel) has demanded the sovereignty of the region. In a statement by its spokesman, Efe Edet-Tamuno, the group said its demands are made on a non-violent struggle. Read the statement after the cut..

A Demand for the Independence of Rondel from Nigeria in 2018.

We the people of the Region of the Niger Delta (Rondel), represented by members of Rondel Solidarity Movement (RSM) - a newly born aggressive but non-violent umbrella body for all intellectuals, groups and associations in the Niger Delta Region, having lived together in the past as a loose federation under the Benin Empire and the great Ijaw and other kingdoms, desirous of searching for our own country since northerners in Nigeria have decided to evacuate southerners from 'their Nigeria' - we today, 07.06.2017 wish to announce the fusion of our various groups into one strong and united non self seeking group to champion our developmental causes and help build our region into a nation of justice, freedom, peace and prosperity.

We have, after over 6 hours of a well attended meeting held at a secret location in Rivers State, met and made Resolutions which will be remembered as The Rondel Covenant.

The Resolutions are in response to the threat by lazy and ignorant Arewa Youths to divide and destroy Nigeria (disguising as evicting the Igbos - an injury to any Southerner is an injury to all Southerners - the days of divide and conquer has ended) and noting the obvious foot dragging of the Nigerian government over this issue with no one arrested, tried or jailed despite the fact that the treasonable felons are well known and they are all not hiding whereas a certain Nnamdi Kanu of Biafra was incarcerated for over two years for daring to discuss Biafra and a certain Kola Edokpayi of Rondel is currently incarcerated for daring to challenge the government in Edo state.

Following the treasonable ultimatum issued by the Arewa Youths with tacit backing of the Arewa Consultative Forum and Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs led by Sultan of Sokoto either of who has not openly condemned the felons and call for their incarceration like they would do when the table turned, and being fed up of being described by the President of Nigeria as 5% undeserving of the benefits of Nigeria, thus desirous to found our own country where we will be treated as citizens with full rights, not some species with 5% rights,

We hereby make the following declarations and resolve as follows:

1. That all the intellectuals, groups and associations in the Niger Delta should fuse into Rondel Solidarity Movement and our demands shift from Resource Control to Independence Movement

2. That in our country, we shall return power to the true owners of the lands, the monarchs, in English-style power sharing between the Royals and the people in a Parliamentary system.

3. That we demand Independence for Rondel from Nigeria from 2018.

4. That Rondel comprises all the six states in the present South-South of Nigeria.

5. That Rondel is an acronym derived from the Region of Niger Delta, later Republic of Niger Delta, if the Arewa groups make good their threats.

6. That Rondel is our name, Rondish will be our Language and Rondland shall be our capital city. Details of these, including the locations of Rondland, shall be in our October 1 book.

7. That no inch of Rondel in the six states of Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, Cross River, Edo, and Rivers States shall ever be ceded to any other people or nation for any reason whatsoever and all those people drawing maps up and down are hereby warned to desist forthwith or risk our disproportionate vengeance including present and future social and economic sanctions.

8. That our motivations for decision to leave Nigeria are first President Buhari's treatment of our people as 5%, Northerner's nearly exclusive illegal and immoral occupation of our oil wells destroying our ecosystems and the eviction notice by Arewa Youths with tacit support of government and the Arewa leaders.

9. That since that treasonable order by Arewa youths, and because no one was arrested, tried and convicted for the high treason, the same matter for which Nnamdi Kalu was imprisoned for about two years, we no longer have faith in one indissoluble Nigeria.

That we state emphatically and without equivocation, that in the likely event of the disintegration of Nigeria, we have resolved to live together in the “Region of Niger Delta', which we henceforth now wish to call RONDEL.

That we wish henceforth, as a people, to be known and addressed as Rondelites and our languages to be known as dialects of Rondish, which shall be our Official Language, side by side English.

That our capital city shall be a portion carved out of an existing area in the Region of Niger Delta and to be renamed Rondland. Details, including out national anthem, flag, coat of arms and interim Constitution, will be published in our book, "RONDEL MANIFESTO: The Making of a Nation" to be released on October 1, 2017.

That the Igbo people, and indeed all Africans and foreigners, are heartily welcome to visit, stay, live in or do legitimate business unencumbered anywhere in Rondel now and in the future.

14. That in the event of a breakup and the Biafrans, the Omoluabis, Middle Beltans, etc have their separate countries, we will be willing to enter into economic partnerships to help each other grow their economies and societies to achieve the Millennium Developed Goals.

15. That this Resolution serves as a warning and a Notice to the Nigerian government, the International community, including all the northern states of Nigeria that henceforth, if any Igbo or indeed any Southerner or Middle Beltan Nigerian is ever attacked or killed again anywhere in the north in a hate or xenophobic attack, we shall declare our Independence within three months.

This is not a threat but self preservation.

That since the Arewa youths have given the Igbos (that implies all southerners, we are not fooled) three months notice to vacate ‘their Nigeria’, we give all northern oil bloc owners three months notice from October 1, 2017 for them to leave the Niger Delta Region or face unpredictable adverse consequences.

17. That we are now ready to take our destiny in our own hands and end this parasitic forced marriage of perpetual disaster since 1914.

18. That we in the Region of Niger Delta declare today 07.06.2017 as the commencement date for our Independence struggle.

19. That the minimum demand for negotiation is arrest, prosecution and conviction of all those who were involved in the provocative treasonable felony. Condemning their action or threat to arrest them will not suffice this time.

20. That we wish to declare to the troublesome northerners that Enough is Enough.

Police confirm 17 killed, 24 injured in Boko Haram attacks in Borno

The Borno state Police command says 17 persons were killed and 24 persons were injured in the attacks carried out by Boko Haram members in Maiduguri, Borno state on Wednesday June 7th. The state police commissioner of Police, Damian Chukwu, disclosed this to newsmen at a press conference in Maiduguri this morning. According to the police chief, three suicide bombers were killed during the coordinated attacks.  He said one of the suicide bombers was arrested alive.

“We had some incidents of act of terrorism by the BHT yesterday the 7th June 2016, which was a clearly indication that the terrorists who have suffered defeat and rendered incapable of carrying out their usual attacks had resorted to guerilla actions. Yesterday 17:55 hours some Boko Haram terrorist attacked at Alidawari village near Jiddari Polo area of Maiduguri, sporadically firing AA (anti-aircraft) rifles across Jiddari Polo and the Federal High Court. They set fire on some houses. Reacting to distress call we deployed our counter terrorism unit to engage them. And shortly after, the military moved, mobilized maximally and repelled the attack, after engaging in a gun duel that lasted for about an hour” he said.

He added that several arms cache and bombs were recovered from the terrorists.

Two men raped by 7 women in Zimbabwe

Police in Zimbabwe says two men were sexually assaulted after they were offered lifts by seven women in two separate incidents in Harare.

The first victim was held up with a gun, forced into the bush, raped and then drugged while the other was knocked out by a drink and abused while unconscious.

Police are now investigating rape case and have also urged members of the public to be vigilant when they are picked up by women.

The Herald reported that Chief Superintendent Paul Nyathi said one of the two recent victims, aged 37, was picked up in Harare on May 27 by a car containing one man and two women. 

A woman who came aboard at the same time, the policeman said, pointed what seemed to be a pistol at the man after the driver had taken the car on a detour.

Chief Supt Nyathi said the woman force-marched the man into the bush, adding that: 'One of the females forced the complainant to have sexual intercourse with him without his consent while another female accused forced the complainant to drink an unknown liquid which left the complainant unconscious.'

The other man also boarded a car in Harare, this one containing five unknown people, before being offered a drink by a woman which knocked him unconscious. 

Chief Supt Nyathi said: 'When the complainant gained consciousness he discovered that he had been abused.'

Last year police were on the lookout for four women alleged to have sexually abused a 29-year-old man after offering him a lift in the Zimbabwean capital.

In 2015, another man also aged 29  was allegedly raped at gunpoint after being given a ride from Magunje Growth Point.  

Kenyan woman appears in court for conspiring with her lover to kill her German husband during sex at their home

A Kenyan woman based in Germany appeared in court Wednesday for the alleged murder of her German husband in September 2016.

The suspects, Armina A. a mother of two and her lover, Jan D  conspired and killed her husband, Ekkehart H while she was making love with him at their home in Ebersdorf.

German newspaper Bild reports that the court documents show how Armina A. planned the murder of her husband Ekkehart H, carefully laying down the plans with her lover who was identified as Jan D.

On the said day, Armina is said to have let her lover into the house and led him into the basement where she had a machete which had a blade of about 40cm.

Her lover then wore a mask and gloves and waited for Ekkehart to come back home from work.

When her husband got home, Armina initiated sexual contact which led them to have intercourse. As the couple engaged in the act, Jan D came from behind and slit Ekkehart’s throat.

According to the report, he attempted to slice him on the shin but missed slashing Armina’s Achilles tendon.

After the carrying the act, Jan D ran away as Armina went outside “seeking help” from neighbors saying that they had been attacked by three masked men. Luckily, the couple’s two children were asleep and did not witness what happened.

Following the gruesome killing, an investigation revealed that Armina claims that someone had been threatening her husband and unknowingly implicated Jan D.

When Jan D was arrested, he admitted to the crime and confessed that he had a hand in the killing which was planned by the deceased wife.

In the light of the revelation, neighbors in nicknamed  Armina, the black widow of Ebersdorf.

The Reports also indicated that the Kenyan woman whose 11-days trial started on Wednesday with about 62 witnesses and 7 experts featuring in the case, has repeatedly cheated on her husband with other men.

Armina and Ekkehart met in Kenya as the businessman was on vacation and they got married in 2007.
